The Huaxia International Culture & Arts Center is a subsidiary of the Huaxia Chinese School, dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and cooperation between China and the United States. The center aims to enhance understanding and friendship between the two nations through a variety of activities, educational programs, and cross-cultural exchanges. We work closely with educational institutions, cultural organizations, and community groups both domestically and internationally, providing opportunities for students of all ages and the general public to learn about and experience Chinese culture.

华夏2024寻根夏令营是一项旨在帮助海外华裔青少年深入了解中华文化、探索祖籍国的活动。通过丰富多彩的文化课程和实地参观，营员们将有机会体验传统手工艺、学习中华礼仪、参观名胜古迹，增强对中华文化的认同感和归属感。寻根夏令营不仅是一次文化学习之旅，也是一次心灵的成长之旅，让营员们在寻根中感受祖籍国的魅力，建立深厚的友谊。
Huaxia 2024 Root-Seeking Summer Camp is a program designed to help overseas Chinese youth gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and explore their ancestral homeland. Through a variety of cultural courses and field trips, participants will have the opportunity to experience traditional crafts, learn Chinese etiquette, and visit historical landmarks, enhancing their sense of identity and belonging to Chinese culture. These summer camps are not only a cultural learning journey but also a journey of personal growth, allowing participants to experience the charm of their ancestral land and build lasting friendships.

驻纽约总领馆举办中美青少年艺术交流专场活动

SPECIAL CHINA-AMERICAN YOUTH ART EXCHANGE EVENT
2024年7月13日，中国驻纽约总领馆举办“相知相亲·携手同行”中美青少年艺术交流专场活动。来自北京金帆艺术团以及纽约市哈德森威双语学校、布鲁克林技术高中、华夏中文学校等15所当地中小学和中文学校的约300名师生携手走进总领馆，以音乐为媒，共话中美友好。黄屏总领事出席活动并致辞，副总领事吴晓明、负责教育事务的参赞余有根、北京圣陶教育发展与创新研究院院长姚炜及来访各校的负责人、艺术指导老师等出席活动。
On July 13, 2024, the Consulate General of China in New York hosted a special Sino-American youth art exchange event titled “Mutual Understanding and Affection · Walking Hand in Hand.” Approximately 300 teachers and students from 15 local schools and Chinese language schools, including Beijing Jinfan Art Troupe, Hudson Way Bilingual School, Brooklyn Technical High School, and Huaxia Chinese School, participated in the event. They gathered at the consulate to use music as a medium to discuss Sino-American friendship. Consul General Huang Ping attended and gave a speech, and the event was also graced by Deputy Consul General Wu Xiaoming, Education Counselor Yu Yougen, Yao Wei, Director of Beijing Shengtao Education Development and Innovation Research Institute, as well as representatives from the visiting schools and art instructors.
