2026 “Huaxia Cup” International Youth & Children Painting Competition

Life in Harmony: Young Visions of Our Shared Home

Theme Overview & Competition Mission

We share one planet, where all life is interconnected and continually renewed. In our Chinese theme, “生生” (Sheng Sheng)evokes the growth and renewal of all living things, as well as the continuity of cultures and civilizations across generations. “与共” (Yu Gong) expresses harmony between humanity and nature, mutual understanding among people of different regions, races, and cultural backgrounds, and our shared responsibility to protect the Earth we all call home.

Continuing our commitment to global sustainable development, this year’s competition is open to young artists ages 4–18. We encourage children to observe and imagine our shared world through art. Their works may depict mountains and rivers, plants and animals, green ecosystems, urban life, cultural diversity, friendships among young people from different countries, equal access to education, peaceful coexistence, or hopeful visions of the future.

Wherever they come from and whatever their cultural background, every sincere and original vision deserves to be seen. We invite young artists to use painting as a bridge to express their thoughts and hopes for life, nature, civilization, and our shared future.
