Zheyi Zhang graduated from Guangxi Normal University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently based in New York. In 2014, he founded the Desktop Art Group, through which he has conceived and implemented numerous large-scale public art projects.

Over the years, Zhang has held solo exhibitions in Bonn (Germany), New York and Colorado State University (USA), as well as in Beijing and Shanghai (China). His group exhibitions have taken place in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, and other countries and regions. In 2018,
his individual public art project was selected for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in Japan, making him one of the most active emerging artists today.

In 2023, Zhang presented his solo exhibition Here and There at Time Art Gallery in Manhattan, New York. In 2024, he continued the series with Here and There, Part 2 at VIBE FINE ARTS Gallery, and also held a solo exhibition titled Unseen Window at 456 Gallery, both in Manhattan.

Zhang’s work spans a wide range of media including oil painting, works on paper, paintings on prints, installations, and public art. While grounded in a contemporary aesthetic, some of Zhang’s works also reflect a clear influence of Eastern philosophical thought, offering a contemplative dimension beyond form.

张哲溢，先后毕业于⼴西师范⼤学及中央美术学院，现居住⽣活在纽约。他于2014 年组建桌⾯研究艺术⼩组，创作并实施了多项⼤型公共艺术作品。多年来，他个⼈亦在德国波恩、美国纽约及科罗拉多州⽴⼤学、中国北京、上海等多地成功举办个⼈艺术展览；联展则遍及中国⾹港、中国台湾、英国、意⼤利、韩国、新加坡、澳⼤利亚等国家和地区。

其个⼈公共艺术作品于 2018 年⼊选⽇本越后妻有⼤地艺术祭三年展，是最活跃的新锐艺术家之⼀。2023 年，他在 Time Art Gallery（纽约曼哈顿）举办个展《Here and There》；2024 年在 VIBE FINE ARTS Gallery（纽约曼哈顿）举办个展《Here and There Part.2》，并于 456 Gallery（纽约曼哈顿）举办个展《Unseen Window》。

他的作品涉及油画、纸上绘画、印刷品上绘画、装置、公共艺术等多种类型，在美学上贯穿过去与未来的时间轴，形式当代，并在部分作品的创作思维中展现东⽅哲学⽓息，引⼈思考。
