丛志远，美国威廉帕特森大学终身荣誉教授，全美华人美术教授协会终身荣誉主席，清华大学美术学院国际专家学术委员会委员。1986获南京艺术学院中国画硕士学位，1994获印地安那大学版画美术硕士学位。擅长中国画、版画，多次参加中国全国美展，曾获全美州际大赛绘画金奖；在纽约联合国总部和中国国家博物馆举办个人画展。2023年中国家乡政府以其名字命名“志远美术馆”。长期担任威廉帕特森大学版画主任教授，中国艺术中心主任 (1994-2025)，全美华人美术教授协会主席、理事会主席. 曾任印第安那波利斯艺术博物馆顾问，南京艺术学院讲师。

Cong Zhiyuan is a tenured professor emeritus at William Paterson University, NJ, a lifetime honorary President of the Chinese- American Art Faculty Association, and a member of the International Experts Academic Committee of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. He received his MFA degree in Chinese Painting from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986 and his MFA degree in Printmaking from Indiana University in 1994. He specializes in Chinese painting and printmaking, and has won a gold medal in a national interstate painting competition. He has held solo exhibitions at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and the National Museum of China in Beijing. In 2023, his hometown government in China named the "Zhiyuan Art Museum" after him. He served as a professor and head of printmaking and director of Center for Chinese Art at WPUNJ (1994-2025). He also served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CAAFA，an advisor to the Indianapolis Museum of Art，and a lecturer at Nanjing University of the Arts.
